Some of the amazing wildlife we've had on the river here in the last year. Next plan is a bird hide or two on the river for all our regulars who love the wildlife here at The Old Mill, Millers cottage, old mill shepherds hut and The old mill house, Jacobstowe, West Devon.
Most recent visitors are a pair of Goosanders or common Mergansers and a kingfisher that flew over the top of them. Let's hope the Goosanders nest nearbyĺ. Keep your eyes on our pages as I hope to get some photos soon.
Cuddle up by the fire in our beautiful 15th century character cottage with a book or a game of scrabble.
Amble along this amazing river and see what animals you can spot or take a sunset walk along the river in the evening.
Come out later in the evening to see the amazingly dark Devon sky's and spot some planets and constelations.
Then come back to our comfy cosy cottage. Snuggle up for a relaxing sleep in our king size or super king bed with soft Egyptian cotton sheets. Our shower room has Egyptian cotton towels warming on the heated towel rail or use the large bathroom with large double ended bath with drench head shower over
You can even bring your dogs too. They'll love the walks along the river and in our orchard with walkways to the river for a paddle or a swim
