Had a last minute cancellation for a short break, Mon- Fri, from 1st July. So four nights arriving Monday afternoon and leaving Friday morning. £300 for the break. Sleeps 2, no extra charges for dogs.

This weekend’s guests just arrived with the most gorgeous Old English boy! He’s just flipping beautiful and our Dora thinks he could make a serious boyfriend (she’s in season, wiggle yip come and get me mode).

We had a lovely surprise today, this little girl arrived in a box through the mail. It's exactly the same as the bouncy cow that got broken in our cottage, over a year ago. She's back now in pride of place on the new mirror shelf. I don't know who sent it! But thank you !

A first for us here in the SecreTT Cottage - had to threaten to call the police to get the people staying to leave! Checkout is by 10.30, at 1pm we had to get a bit pushy and tell them to get the heck out so that we could clean it for next people coming in. The new people then sent a text to say their train arrived here at 2.30pm. That was a MAD rush to get it done. And I do hate it when they leave me all their breakfast washing up to do.

We've had a last minute cancellation so the cottage is available from today (Tuesday 27th June) through to Friday 7th July - reduced to £65 a night or £425 for a full week. Minimum booking 3 nights.

A little bit upset this week. our last guests broke the wobbly cow that’s been on the windowsill since we first renovated the cottage. Daft as it sounds, people often mentioned the cow and a few asked where they could buy one. We never managed to find another one, although I tried. RIP Buttercup

We’ve had a couple of May cancellations. The first is from this Tuesday for 3 nights (arrive 3rd May, leave Friday 6th). So now reduced to £125 total, for the 3 nights, no extras.

The next is a full week but from Monday 9th to Monday 16th. £300 for the week.

It's been a quiet start to the year and so I'm offering available dates in January and February for just £50 a night. No extras, and we don't charge for dogs. Minimum booking 2 nights.

Had a brand new, redesigned bathroom in the cottage. It’s much better now, (we sadly waved goodbye to the old avocado loo and sink)
