**Dua for the Last Friday of Ramadan**

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"This is the last Friday of Ramadan. Bid it farewell by reciting this dua."

**اللّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ العَهْدِ مِنْ صِيَامِنَا إِيَّاهُ، فَإِنْ جَعَلْتَهُ فَاجْعَلْنِي مَرْحُوْمًا وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي مَحْرُومًا**

🔸 **English Translation:**
"O Allah! Do not make this the last of our fasting in this month. But if You decree it so, then grant me Your mercy and do not deprive me of it."

🌟 **Reward:**
Whoever recites this supplication will receive one of two blessings—
1️⃣ The opportunity to witness the next Ramadan
2️⃣ The forgiveness and mercy of Allah

Masjid al-ʿArīsh in Badr stands on the very site where the tent of the Holy Prophet ﷺ was pitched during the Battle of Badr. From this location, the battle was directed, and the Noble Prophet ﷺ fervently supplicated here before the first and most pivotal battle in the history of Islām unfolded.

Rasūlullāh ﷺ raised his arms to the sky so high that the beautiful shawl he was wearing around his shoulders fell off. Sayyidunā Abū Bakr picked up the shawl and placed it back on his blessed shoulders. Then Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq embraced the Prophet ﷺ from behind and consoled him, saying:

“𝗢 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮̄𝗵, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1763]

So Allāh Tabārak wa Taʿālā revealed:

“𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽, 𝗛𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴: ‘𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.’” [8:9]

Alhamdulillah, today marks the final day of our ziarah. We’ve had the privilege of visiting many religiously significant sites, such as the Quba Masjid, the first mosque built by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Medina, where he and his companions sought refuge during the Hijrah. We also visited Masjid Qiblatain, where the direction of prayer was changed from Jerusalem to Mecca, marking a pivotal moment in Islamic history. Lastly, we stood at the historic site of the Battle of Uhud, a reminder of the courage and sacrifice of the early Muslim community. From this point forward, the group will rest, engage in individual acts of worship, and spend time with family. Most importantly, we will immerse ourselves in the blessings of Masjid an-Nabawi, seeking peace and tranquility in this sacred place."

All praise is due to Allah, we have completed our group climb to the blessed mountain of Jabal al-Noor and reached the revered cave of Hira. It is here that Rasulullah (swt) sought solitude, away from the noise and distractions of the world, dedicating himself to reflection and worship. This journey has been a profound and spiritually enriching experience, and we are truly grateful to have witnessed such a sacred place.

Alhamdulillah, today our group had the blessed opportunity to visit several local historical and religious sites. We explored places of great spiritual significance, including religious landmarks that hold deep meaning for our faith. The weather was perfect – not too hot, with a refreshing breeze, which made the journey even more enjoyable. It was a peaceful and enriching experience, allowing us to reflect on our faith and appreciate the sacred history of our deen. We had a truly wonderful time and are grateful for the chance to visit these holy places together."

📍 **Taif, Saudi Arabia** – The City of Roses & Resilience 🌹🏔️

Taif, nestled in the mountains of the Hijaz at **1,879m above sea level**, is a breath of fresh air—literally! With **cooler weather, lush gardens, and world-famous roses**, it's a must-visit destination in Saudi Arabia. But beyond its beauty, Taif holds **a deeply emotional chapter in Islamic history**.

✨ **The Prophet’s (PBUH) Most Painful Journey** ✨
In **619 CE**, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) walked to Taif, seeking support after facing persecution in Makkah. Instead of kindness, he was **attacked, stoned, and driven out**—yet he responded with **mercy and a heartfelt prayer for their guidance**. 💔💙

🌿 **Masjid Addas – A Story of Instant Faith** 🌿
As he rested in an orchard, a Christian slave named **Addas (RA)** offered him grapes. The moment the Prophet (PBUH) said **"Bismillah"**, Addas was stunned—it was not a phrase common in Arabia! Their conversation led Addas to **embrace Islam on the spot**. Today, **Masjid Addas** stands as a tribute to this life-changing encounter.
