One of the images from a new publication I have coming out in the next few weeks. Titled 'Adrift' - The lost and found of the Papay shore. A monochrome glimpse into natural and man made flotsam and jetsam, which has washed up on the shores of Papay.

The publication was funded by the North Isles Landscape Partnership Scheme, as part of their Seas Of The North Isles project.

A mid winter, high tide this morning. When the top of the pier becomes the surface of the sea.

Up on Fowl Craig today, sea watching and egg checking… Also the final weekend for any last minute Papay calendar orders, island calendars or just Papay birds…

A bit of sideways light speed heading into the Papay pier last night. Thanks to the Westray crew and Orkney ferries for getting folk home in all weathers.

The first proof copy of my Papay Island Calendar 2025 has arrived. Here is a quick run through of the monthly highlights! Taking preorders now for either A4 or A3 sizes, the size refers to the image so 2 x A4 or A3 when folded out. Drop me a message or email, text or WhatsApp if you would like one. A4 is £17.50 inc uk postage, A3 is £25 inc uk postage. Any folk from further afield I can get a postage quote for you.. Thanks for looking.
