Our Story
The Old Dairy and The Courtyard Cottages are part of our home in the hamlet of Timble in The Yorkshire Dales, set in an area of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Our holiday cottage business began when our boys left home after finishing university. We decided to put the property to good use and let our guests experience a little sample of the lifestyle we have enjoyed since 1997. We have created 2 luxury one bedroom cottages which are perfect for those who love being surrounded by beautiful countryside, walking, cycling or just relaxing. Our ethos is to provide accommodation that is a real home from home with lots of special touches. In house catering as an option is just one of the unique services we provide. Self catering accommodation does not mean you always have to cook!
We love being in the middle of everywhere, even though first impressions lead you to believe that you are in a remote spot. Places like Harrogate, Ilkley, Skipton, Ripon and York are very easily accessible not to mention the fabulous estates such as Bolton Abbey and Harewood House.
