We are located in the picturesque village of Otterburn with stunning walks into the beautiful Northumbrian countryside direct from the cottage. A fine location for exploring Kielder Water and the Dark Skies Observatory.

We have superb links to the lovely market town of Hexham and historic Corbridge, both of which offer a wealth of independent shops, great restaurants and authentic Northumbrian pubs.

The Barns is a perfect base for couples, families, ramblers, dog walkers and anybody who wants to sample the great Northumbrian outdoors and all it has to offer.

"Going to a wedding so decided to make a weekend of it. Luckily we managed to book The Barns through Coquet Cottages this was so easy and the feedback for information was good.

It ticked all the boxes, the property for 5 excelled in everything, cleanliness was of a high standard. There is everything you could need for a self-catering stay, the welcome pack was great even a home-cooked cake and prosecco. I would recommend the Barns to anyone visiting Northumberland as it's pretty central in the lovely Country village of Otterburn and was so reasonably priced offering Fri-Mon and Mon-Fri with off-road parking for 2 cars. This will be my first choice accommodation when I visit this area again"

Our lovely converted Stone Barn sleeps up to 5 people:

🛏 A double bedroom with a king-size bed (5ft wide)
🛏 A twin bedroom with two single beds (3ft wide) and
