The Wagon at Burrow Hill

Hand built by Ben using many recycled materials and wood from our land, the wagon boasts a bespoke design based on a traditional American shepherds wagon. Despite being off grid with solar power, composting loo and reed beds, modern comforts such as air blown heating at the flick of a switch and USB ports for charging phones are still included. The wagon is designed to be used all year round being

fully insulated with sheeps wool, whereby the outdoor kitchen area is covered by canvas with optional zip down sides, and has a woodburner to keep you toasty, which also heats the shower room so there's no chance of a chilly midwinter (or British summer) shower experience! The wagon is situated in a secluded patch of our 7 acre site with views of the rolling Devon countryside. We have a small vineyard overlooked by a large pond which you are welcome to wander around. Dogs are very welcome.
