The school summer holidays are fast approaching and we are busy finalising our activities to share with you soon.

What we CAN share is that the first and last weeks of the holidays will be FREE at the Museum for children.

That’s right!

Up to two children per paying adult will get FREE Museum admission for the periods 24th-30th July inclusive and 28th August-1st September inclusive.

And we’ll be open EVERY day during the holidays.

We had a lovely afternoon in the sun at The Herb Farm in Sonning Common. We had a lot of fun navigating the Saxon Maze and getting, well, lost! It’s harder than you think! Beautiful plants for sale, gorgeous garden shop and delicious coffee shop with the most amazing cakes! The gardens are literally buzzing with our friends the 🐝

The sixteenth annual English Music Festival 2023 opens at Dorchester Abbey tonight and will run until the evening of the 29th May. With a highly anticipated visit by the BBC Concert Orchestra on opening night to perform major works by E. J. Moeran and Ralph Vaughan Williams as well as world premieres by William Lloyd Webber, William Alwyn and Paul Lewis, this is an event not to be missed by classical music fans!

We are delighted to announce the programme for the 2023 May EMF. The Festival will once again be held in Oxfordshire, with events held in the glorious surroundings of Dorchester Abbey as well as at the Silk Hall at Radley College and the historic All Saints’ Church at Sutton Courtenay.

Congratulations The Maker Space, we’ll be watching. How wonderful for our local small businesses!

Eeek, it’s all very real now. 😳 Many of you saw us being filmed last year at The Maker Space and have been asking what it was for and when you’ll get to see it - well you can from Monday!!

The series starts on Monday 29th May at 5pm on Channel 4 and we can’t wait to see what everyone else has been doing with their projects.
(You’ll have to wait until further into the series to see us.)
