"During take off and landing you get a great glimpse of beautiful Reykjavik. A short flight to the site and then these views. The pilot did a few circles so that we all could get shots. We even flew over the Blue Lagoon to see the damage done to the parking lot and the walls that was built to protect the lagoon. While doing all this, the pilot gives you loads of educational information on the eruption.
Out of this world experience. 40 minutes flying, worth every penny"
Remember traveling to Iceland is not affected by the eruption. Flights to Keflavik are operating normally, and if you are lucky enough to be there when this is happening, I can arrange a helicopter flight for you too.
Iceland is really the most magnificent country. ๐ฎ๐ธ
