Ready for some long mountain lunches this ski season?

If you are in need of some inspiration, here are four of the Volare teams favourite mountain spots to spend some indulgent afternoons.

Chalet d’Adrien, Verbier. Verbier’s only Michelin-starred restaurant serving inventive Italian cuisine with an exquisite wine selection.

Le Cave des Creux, Courchevel. Originally an Alpine cheese ripening cellar and sheepfold, now a superb restaurant run by former ski instructors. The homemade dessert buffet is worth saving room for!

Chez Vrony, Zermatt. One of Zermatt’s many outstanding restaurants, enjoy the spectacular view of the Matterhorn on their rustic terrace. Locally sourced cuisine brings simplicity to the next level. Their cured meat is made onsite and a must try.

La Fruitière, Val d’Isère. As part of the Folie Douce it needs no introduction. But La Fruitière is less party atmosphere, more high end restaurant. Their cheese selection is a must as the restaurant models itself on a local dairy.

We shared our highlights of the year last week, but we wanted to also share some thoughts from our Founder, Dustin Dryden, about 2023 and any goals he has for the year ahead.
“I am consistently proud of what we achieve at Volare, and year on year we seem to successfully grow, learn, challenge and innovate.
2023 was certainly a year of change for us. Some of those changes were highly visible, like the move into our inspiring new office space at London Oxford Airport, and our biggest jet refurbishment to date; the BBJ. However, some are far more discreet yet equally important. The ongoing progression of the production of the Lilium Pioneer Jet, for example, and delivering a comfortable and happy working environment for our expanding team.
This year is about refining and finessing our customer service to ensure we continue to provide the best possible experience to our loyal client base. This means investing in systems and technologies that produce efficiencies within the business, as well as continuing to the grow our team. We have high hopes and even higher goals for 2024, and look forward to building upon our position as a leading name in the aviation industry.”
