Le Quesne Law Society

Le Quesne Law Society Le Quesne Law Society is run by students, for students. Our aim is the promotion of networking and educational events related to the practise of law.

The Le Quesne Law Society aims to help its members in pursuing their interest in law. It offers a careers-orientated approach to law. It was founded in 2014 for the students of Regent's Park College, Oxford, although it has strong links with other colleges’ law societies, especially Somerville and Oriel. The society hosts regular events intended to support an interest in law, from dinners with law

firms to vacation scheme workshops. If you wish to keep updated, please like the page to receive notifications. The current committee were elected in Trinity term of last year, and will serve until Trinity term this year when there will be husts for committee roles. The committee is made up of:

ASSET MANAGEMENT SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

Something a bit different: Whitley Asset Management, a privately owned wealth management firm based in Holland Park, is looking to hire several interns for three to four week placements this summer.

Whitley specialises in bespoke investment strategies for high-net-worth clients. As such, interns will be expected to assume a high level of responsibility in researching investment opportunities for current and potential clients, as well as contributing in both internal and external meetings.

Linklaters are hosting an Open Afternoon exclusively for 1st year students both law and non-law. The event will include interactive workshops and sessions, as well as the chance to network with lawyers of all levels. The Open Afternoon is this Thursday 23 January 2020.
