Close to the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just 25 minutes from London Waterloo by train, Surrey Cottage is a glamorous retreat set in 2.5 acres of lovely, parkland style gardens and with shared seasonal use of a beautiful outdoor swimming pool.
Inside the property is furnished in a modern glam luxe style, with deep carpets, shiny metallics, soft velvet and fur. The lounge area is a fabulous 25 foot and boasts an open fire and a 49" satellite TV with Sky+. French doors lead out on to the private patio. Also on the ground floor are the 3 fabulous ensuite double bedrooms, with beds dressed with quality linens. There is an additional double bedroom and 2 double sofa beds, sleeping an additional 6 guests in the Entertainment Room. The Entertainment Room is a separate building with its own open plan lounge/kitchen, with a 32" TV, and bathroom. Outside the cottage is surrounded by private gardens and has its own patio area. If there are any little ones in the party, they will love the children’s play area. There is plenty of parking with enough room for up to 8 cars. The owners live on site in the main house, so can help with additional requirements and advise if you have any questions. Guests are greeted with a complimentary hamper, containing Tea, Coffee, Milk, Biscuits, Bread, Eggs, Water and Snacks. The retail delights of London, Cobham, Esher & Leatherhead are all within easy reach as the transport links are excellent. There are also plenty of great bars and restaurants in the area. Why not book in to The Ivy Brasserie at Cobham? If you fancy a day at the races, nearby Epsom and Sandown offer plenty of chances for a flutter. Active hens should head to the local activity centre, which is set in 100 acres of forest just outside of Cobham. They offer paintball, lazer tag and multi activity events including Archery, CQB, Axe throwing, Treasure Hunt / Orienteering. Chessington World of Adventures is just 3 miles away and offers a theme park, zoo and 2 Go Ape Courses. A few miles south lies the stunning Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering attractive market towns, wonderful countryside and great treks, trails and bridlepaths for walkers, cyclists and riders.
