Oh my goodness, I have been a bit "quiet" on here recently with lockdown.

We walk into Padstow from the farm as our exercise to check on the cottage each week. A break in Padstow is obviously "usually" a popular choice for a Valentine's Day break.

If you want to get a taste of Padstow delivered to your door, you can buy a special Valentine's box from The Chough Bakery. Make sure you order by 12.30pm tomorrow, the 10th, for delivery on Friday.

🛀 Bath or 🚿shower? Which do you prefer?

Stargazy has this lovely bath in the corner of the bedroom.

There is also a partitioned bathroom area with generous sized shower, basin and toilet. - And there is lovely warm underfloor heating as well as a large heated towel rail.

We are Melanie and Mike Benwell.

There’s a lot of people who have discovered our new page since we launched our giveaway yesterday.

We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce or reintroduce ourselves to everyone and to put a face behind our business....and show you our beautiful Padstow cottage.

We have owned Stargazy Cottage since 2014 - a perfect Padstow retreat for couples. We live just 4 miles away at Trevorrick Farm, our smallholding, where we have ran our farm stay holiday cottages for 20 years and brought up our two boys, now 17 and 21.

We have let the cottage largely through an agency in the past, but are now trying to get more direct bookings and so thought it was about time the cottage had its own page!

So welcome to our page and we look forward to getting to know all on the coming weeks.
