As 2024 draws to a close Dom and I would like to thank everyone who has visited Entwood and enjoyed the log home as much as we do.

2024 since Aug/Sept has been hard as our son Thomas has been in a psychosis and I started a new job which sees me travelling to Aarhus, Denmark once a month. Hence the lack of updates.

For 2025 we have spaces and some of you have asked for dates. I'll try and get myself organised to publish these ASAP.

Our 2025 prices will need to rise a little, sorry. But we hope you still feel you have a good deal.

Jan to Jun and Oct to Dec £90 per night min 3 nights. Discounts on discretion after 3 nights

Jul, Aug,Sep £110 per night, over 7 days reduced to £90 per night. Again minimum 3 nights.

Hi Everyone,

Rubbish every Friday. Please bag up and place in blue wheelie bin. Please ensure bagged dog poo is then in a larger bin bag in the blue bin.
Recycling every other week. Please follow instructions and use the right bags.

Entwood guests....

We are at Entwood for a week for our holiday although as usual it's checking, fixing and mending.

There will be some changes in making sure Entwood is left as it should be found by our guests. Our cleaners have a list with photos but there are some other jobs that all guests will need to follow too, we do have a list on the Entwood details but I think I need to reiterate it. Some things you'll need to know about.

1. Change in bin collections
2. Guides on how to leave each room and the garden and its furniture.
3. Changeover dates may need to change for 2025.
4. For 2025 a booking will not be confirmed until a booking form is completed and sent to me. Until then dates will be provisional.
5. A log of all guests names and addresses who will be staying on a booking form.
6. Payment will be one month in advance of your stay. We will still not take deposits.
7. They'll also be a form to list anything that needs replacing or is broken. We accept wear and tear but even for us, when we come to Entwood, we don't expect to come finding items not working.

Grump over.

The dogs are having a great time though.

I thought I'd put in our house pictures on here. Maybe one day I'll them professionally done 🥳. Entwood is 21 years old now. We bought it during a mad moment on holiday in 2003. We saw it as a shell and we're able to adapt to have the throughfloor lift added and the ensuite bathroom made larger for a wetroom. Since having Entwood we have changed the kitchen layout making it an accessible kitchen.

It's nearly that time of year again..... Every Wednesday evening throughout August, we will be hosting our special Bird of Prey Displays and Gundog Demonstrations.

Entwood guests who travel a long way to get to ours with dogs and/or children do you have any great stop off places to visit for a run for the dogs or a play for the children or a good lunch place?

Our journey takes 4 hours from Crowthorne and we are pretty boring in that except for a pub Rainbow on the Lake, near Salisbury we usually do service stations.

Those of you ravelling from London, Essex, Norfolk, Sussex, Kent, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Beds, Bucks, Oxon, or other counties, where do you stop? Tell everyone your gems please.
