We have availability for the Padstow Christmas Festival Thur 7- Sunday 10 December (our check in day is usually a Saturday but can be flexible to accommodate the festival). The bus into town is 10 minutes and runs 1 minute from the cottage, by the beach.

Chef's kitchen, chirsitmas market with lovely local art, candles, scents, cheese, patisseries, clothing, accessories, jewellery and lots to sample and amazing food to try too.

Get in touch. Sleeps 6, dog friendly, 1 min walk to Harlyn Beach (0.5 miles long). Coastal walks, walking distance to The Pig. Cafe on the beach.

We are super lucky to have Beachbox Cafe right on Harlyn Bay beach. They sell everything - breakfast smoothy bowls, coffee, bacon baps, pastries, soups, wraps, pizzas, cocktails- all you could ever need while down at the beach. 🙌🏻

Spotted!

Epic new footage has emerged of the humpback whale that has been hanging around Cornwall. The simply breathtaking second video we have received of the majestic giant, taken from a drone, shows it serenely coasting through the Cornish bay before surfacing.

It's a great time of year for seal spotting!

We might not be running trips at the moment, but winter is a great time to get out on the coast path to try and spot some marine life. Seals often stay close to the coast when in the water so keep an eye out for any heads popping up. If you see seals hauled out on the land, keep quiet and allow them to rest. You can still get great views from a respectful distance.

There have been plenty of recent sightings of porpoises, dolphins and even whales off the Cornish coast lately, so bring a pair of binos on your walk and you might get lucky and spot something exciting! 👀🦭🐬🐋
