Padstow Town Council

Padstow Town Council Padstow Town Council Padstow Town Council has 12 Councillors, nine of which represent Padstow Ward and three representing Trevone.

Each Councillor serves a term of four years. The last Town Council elections were in May 2017. Every year the Council elects one Member as Town Mayor who is Chair of the Council and one Member as the Deputy Chair of the Council and Deputy Town Mayor. The Town Council meets on the last Tuesday of each month (except in August

and September) at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber which is located in the Council Offices at Station House. There is a public session at the start of the meeting when the public can address the Council. The Council also has several Committees to deal with specific matters. MUGA - SAFETY CONCERN

Due to the high winds being forecast, please note that the basketball hoops will not be available in the MUGA from this afternoon until the storm has passed over.

Whilst undertaking the above task, our team have found some airgun pellets in the area – this is alarming and we sincerely hope that no-one would use an airgun in this environment. Should anyone have any further information or see any such behaviour please report it to the police.

We cannot see any damage on the equipment in the area at this stage.

NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly are inviting the public to take part in the NHS 10-year health plan engagement that is now underway.

Your responses will provide information of the local needs in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly which will be fed into the national plan and feedback will help to shape local delivery.

A series of online and in-person engagement events will take place during January and February 2025.

Further to our recent post advising of refurbishment works taking place in the Community Hub from January, please note that for the duration of these works, the Foodbank will temporarily relocate to the Wadebridge Foodbank.

We look forward to welcoming the Foodbank team back to the Hub once works are complete (anticipated for Easter).

Meeting dates for the Man Down Padstow group this month are 5th and 19th January 2025.

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE: The venue for these meetings has temporarily changed to the Church Rooms, Padstow from January to Easter 2025. This is due to refurbishment works currently taking place in the Community Hub.
