Brilliant location!
"Fantastic location for a beach swim or barbeque or just a morning cup of tea by the sea. Love the outside hot shower after a swim too. The cottage is a squeeze for six people but we managed. Can only really have one person at a time in the kitchen. Outside seating is lovely for breakfast. It's a quirky historic cottage which is very homely, especially with the log burner in the evening. Nearby Cabin Cafe has lovely food and we used the bus from there to visit Boscastle and St Nectan's Glen. Oh and don't forget to sit on the wall opposite the pub for the beautiful sunsets."

Review of Fursewood, Widemouth Bay - May 2024

"OMG what a beautiful place. When we arrived there was everything that we needed. Nik the caretaker was just at the end of the phone if you needed her and she is amazing.
The beautiful garden was so big. My dog loved it. We played a lot of games.
Even though you get the feeling of being in the middle of no where, everything is just a short car ride away.
The place is very clean and comfortable. They have thought of everything. Electric car port, tumble dryer and washing machine, which I loved. No taking dirty washing home.
The glass walk way was a bit of getting use to, I don't like heights.
Over all what a lovely place.
We as a family would love to go back."

I have now stayed at Tamarisk 3 times. It’s best feature is the stunning view of Treyarnon Bay from the fabulous balcony and the proximity of the beach. However, the apartment itself is pure luxury: a very modern kitchen with all mod cons plus kitchen equipment – nothing is left out. The lounger/diner/kitchen room is very well designed and great for families. All 3 bedrooms on the top floor have luxury ensuites and the single bedroom in effect has its own bathroom next door…… 4 bathrooms in total. All beautifully decorated and original artwork throughtout. Can’t recommend this gem highly enough."

.......Two bedrooms have their own small bathroom and the other two rooms share a large bathroom. What a luxury! Over the length of the house is a conservatory where young children can play. And a large garden with car tire swing and playhouse. Through a fairytale hiking trail you can reach the beach within half an hour and from there you can walk two sides to the coastal path, both beautiful. Nice villages and lots of natural beauty in the area and some larger cities an hour away. There is plenty to do and when it rains, the house is so cozy that you want to stay at home. We'd love to come back! "

We also have Le Breuil in our portfolio of holiday homes - a large, spacious, renovated barn, located in 3 acres of beautiful FRENCH countryside, situated near Mountbron. Just to add abit of variety!

This stunning property has been converted to a very high specification and is situated in a peaceful rural location with fabulous countryside views.

For a family holiday the owner has thought of everything you would need to keep all generations happy. Swimming pool (10m x 5m), bicycles, table tennis, petanque, football field with goals, pool table and table football.

"Le Breuil is a spacious beautiful property in the countryside. It is laid out well, with 5 comfortable bedrooms, a huge, well kitted out kitchen and sitting room with a large tv and outside eating and bbq areas. We enjoyed having a choice of 4 tables to sit at for meals, 2 inside and 2 out.
The pool was a joy and it was a perfect temperature. We enjoyed bicycling to the local village as well as playing lots of table tennis, table football, snooker and water volleyball and boule." Recent guest - Katherine.
