On Monday 25th March, we held our annual Friends of Padstow Christmas Festival donations evening at The Old Ship Hotel. The event is when we bring together all the organisations in the town that the festival supports to hand out the donations raised. It was such a great evening of celebration - it’s lovely to see what all the hard work of each festival is for.

The 2023 festival supported local organisations: Padstow under 9’s Football Club, Padstow Girls FC, Padstow Girl Guides/Brownies/Rainbows, St Petroc’s Senior Citizen Club Padstow, Padstow School, Trevisker School, St Eval, Trevisker Pre School, St Merryn School, St Merryn Pre School, St Issey School, Padstow Kernow Players, Padstow Sea Cadets, Padstow Christmas Lights and Padstow Museum.

The Festival also supports The Fisherman's Mission, The Cornwall Air Ambulance and the Prince's Trust who are all beneficiaries at the event.

✨ Calling all Stallholders ✨

2024 marks the 17th year of the Padstow Christmas Festival and we're already busy planning this year's event! 🎄

We are very privileged to showcase a huge Christmas Market with sensational food/drink producers and beautiful arts/crafts, and we're delighted to share that Stallholder applications for this year's festival will open today, Friday the 2nd of February 2024 🎅

All applications for stalls will be dealt with on a first-come first-served basis. Applications taken from Devon and Cornwall businesses only.

Our heartfelt thanks goes to the local school children who created incredible lanterns for Friday night’s parade, our revered celebrity and local chefs who all donated their time and talent for free, our army of volunteers who we owe so much for their dedication, all the wonderful festive market traders and local businesses alongside our generous sponsors, including our headliners Sharp's Brewery and of course, every visitor who came along. We couldn’t be prouder of our 2023 Christmas festival and we hope you all enjoyed it too! 🎁

🎄✨ What's on today...

It’s the last day of the festival, but that doesn't mean we are slowing down.

There’s an amazing lineup of chefs in our Festival Kitchen and in the Sharp’s Chefs Theatre marquee, and there will be music from Black Velvet and 3 Unwise Men as well as the Christmas Market and delicious street food!

What better way to spend a Sunday than getting into the festive spirit in one of the most beautiful places in Cornwall.

Entry to the market and Festival Kitchen are FREE!

Saturday’s lineup looks stellar! Who has tickets to the chef demos today?

If you don’t, then never fear because entry to the Christmas Market is FREE and there is so much going on in the harbour. There will be food stalls, drinks, live music and much more 🥁

Alex Hollywood is unable to take part in this year's festival, but Valentine Warner will be taking over the 3pm demonstration in the Sharp's Chefs Theatre.

We are kicking off the Padstow Christmas Festival with Paul Ainsworth and John Walton in the Sharp’s Chefs Theatre!

The Christmas Market will be open from 12pm to 6pm and there will be so much going on around the harbour as well as Sharp’s Solar Wave Silent Bistro sessions for those with tickets.

Answers to your most frequently asked questions are below:

🚗 Parking: There is no park-and-ride at Padstow. The town’s pay and display car parks and the Main Road car park will be open. Disabled parking bays can be found in the council car park and there is the option for blue badge holders to drop off near the main marquee.

🦮 Dogs: Sorry, dogs are not allowed in the festival marquees (except guide dogs) for health and safety reasons. Dogs are welcome around the town and in many shops and restaurants.

🔗 Will tickets be available on the day?
Yes, subject to availability and via card payment only.
