Chilli heads assemble!!
Finally the weather is allowing us to get the chilli plants out! We have several varieties available at our honesty box, from the "oooh that tingles" right up to the "OMG pass the milk now!" Also available for the "I wish I could handle it" folk are some tasty sweet peppers;)

Here’s what we’ve got…
Chillies:-
• Bengal Naga: Prolific ‘Super Hot’ with a very distinct flavour… “Milk on standby!” Up to 1,000,000 SHU
• Hot Chocolate: Compact plants yielding masses of chocolate brown fruit graced with an unique and pleasant aroma. Very hot! 140,000 SHU
• Turtles Claw: Our absolute favourite! Masses of elongated knobbly, yellow fruit which combines a delicious lemon flavour with a serious punch of heat. 96,000 SHU
• Coffee Bean: Prolific amount of small coffee bean sized, very hot fruits with the classic habanero flavour. 77,000 SHU
• Lemon Drop: If you like your flavour look no further, sparkling, fresh, citrus like and very hot. 56,000 SHU
• Trinity: A high yielding aromatic habanero with a more manageable level of heat. 40,000 SHU
• Early Jalapeno: Absolute classic! Medium sized plants producing tonnes of beautiful, hot, bullet shaped fruits. Best used green in our opinion. 25,000 SHU
• Bequinho (Red): A Brazilian variety bearing small, teardrop shaped fruits in abundance with just a tickle of heat, great in salads or on pizzas etc. 500-1,000 SHU
• Padron: The ‘Russian roulette of peppers’ and a popular tapas dish in Spain, where young green fruits are fried in olive oil and salt and eaten whole. 1 in 10 are hot!! Go on…we dare you!! 0 - 8,000 SHU
Sweet Peppers
• Mayo: A magnificent sweet pepper producing purple, cone shaped fruit, with thick ivory coloured flesh that ripens to red.
• Ontara: An extraordinary sweet pepper that produces round fruit with exceptionally thick juicy flesh.
• Turkish Dolma: An extremely prolific Turkish sweet pepper, traditionally used for stuffing.
