Our paddle steamer Kingswear Castle is the last remaining coal-fired paddle steamer in operation in the UK.

She was built back in 1924 by Philip & Son of Dartmouth with her engines dating back to 1904, just 3 years after the death of Queen Victoria.

In her heyday, she was the lifeblood of the River Dart, often carrying 500 passengers.

The prices listed here are our prices throughout the year. We have given a 10% deduction on prices if booking direct through us on facebook or our website rather than booking through Booking.com.

Prices here are per night or per week but please don't hesitate to contact us if you are looking for a 5 night stay or have any inquiries for bank holidays.

We are just a stones throw away from the beautiful Paignton Seafront, a 5 minute walk from Paignton town center and a short drive away from what Devon and the West Country has to offer.

We offer everything to make your stay a walk in the park, including all of your usual amenities.

Including wifi, washing machine, kettle, oven & hob, cutlery/cooking utensils, hair dryer, iron and ironing board as wells as a flatscreen TV with Netflix.

Throughout Summer there is also a heated communal swimming pool inside the gated boundaries.
