Red Rum's Retreat A luxurious horse lorry for two, located at East Angle Bay, Pembrokeshire. Dog friendly & sea views. Perfect get away for precious time with your favourites!

The luxurious dog friendly lorry can accommodate up to 4 guests (with an additional sofa bed for 2), fully equipped kitchen, dining/sitting room with log burner, bedroom & bathroom. Stunning views of the sea shore a stone’s throw away from the balcony decking and historic pub The Old Point House within short walking distance. The horse lorry was previously owned by a local racehorse trainer, he wo

uld travel across the UK with up to 5 race horses on board. How could we not name this larger-than-life lorry after one of the most famous champion racehorses the world has ever seen, three time Grand National winner Red Rum. Carwyn & Emily longed to create a home away from home for their children and cocker spaniel Miss Ivy, not too far from their home, close to the sea and with lots of fresh air to take time out. Carwyn & Emily poured all their time, energy, and passion into building Red Rum’s Retreat and every little touch has been thought through carefully. The renovation attracted attention of Channel 4’s George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces and is featured in the latest series which can be watched back on All4. Welcome to Red Rum’s Retreat!

Then Red Rum is the perfect staycation for you as it’s a stone throw away from the seaside and located on Pembrokeshire’s Coastal Path ⚓️📍

During your stay you can enjoy walking, hiking, cycling, sailing, kayaking, and/or paragliding. We also have bike anchors outside the lorry that you can use should you wish to bring your bike.
