Love seeing the sun pouring in this room. We replaced the original cart shed openings with big curved patio doors so you could make the most of the views down across the valley 👌🏻.

Christmas vibes at The Coach House this year 😍 - particularly chuffed with our new cluster lights! Can’t have too many lights?!

Autumn dog walks 🍁 🍃
We had a lovely walk today in the walled garden - taking in all of the amazing autumnal colours; what a special season this is. And now that Halloween is over, it’s officially the countdown to Xmas, isn’t it?
Although the gardens at Newhall are private property, we are so lucky that our guests are welcome to explore them - and it’s right on the doorstep too - it truly is such a special place. works her socks off in there growing flowers for many of the weddings now hosted in the main house!

Spring time is here and guests are allowed back soon! We are so excited. Here's The Sheep Cote, our little 2 bedroom cottage which sleeps up to 6 guests. We only have a few weeks left at this cottage over the summer - link in bio. Opening in 2 days and the first few weeks are available for any last minute breaks! 🏡

We're based in the Pentland Hills so there are lots of lovely walks to do here, right from the doorstep - don't worry, we have walking maps in the cottages for anyone who doesn't know the area well!
The views from the top are worth the hike up the hill - .adventuring will confirm this, she is a regular walker on our hills!

Sit, relax and unwind in front of our log burner at The Sheep Cote 🔥
We always supply our guests with plenty of fresh logs from the farm, so there's no reason not to to light it really! Apart from a heatwave of course...
This cosy cottage sleeps up to 6 people - there's still some availability over the summer months too (link in bio). It can be rented alongside our other cottage as well, The Coach House (sleeps up to 8 people) - which would be perfect for bigger groups or families!

Absolutely love our table for al fresco dining from Garden Trading - clocks are going back, evenings are getting longer, so bring on long boozy suppers outside now that Spring has sprung!
We are especially excited about guests allowed back at end of April too. 👪

Keeping our fingers and toes crossed that we can open our doors again soon to guests🤞🏼- the bookings are coming in, which is so lovely - and a positive sign that everyone else is also hopeful for the summer!
