The weather is turning colder but more settled. A quick run out over lunchtime. An adult White-tailed Eagle was standing close to a younger bird but they were too far off to identify any food on the shore. The young bird soon moved on to watch an Otter feeding along the shore. The Little Egret is still hanging around.

A bit of a showery day but there were plenty of eagles about.

No rain today but there was a chilly breeze. It was great to see two Otter families getting together...a mum with 2 cubs and another with one cub. The females are related so there is no animosity between them. Two sets of mum and two cubs were seen in another area too. Golden Eagle, White-tailed Eagle, Hen Harrier, Buzzard, Bullfinch, Redwing and Raven all featured through the day too.

A couple of dull days. The Little Egret is still here but it was distant today. This Otter is usually seen with one cub but she does have two. The cubs don't seem to get on though. One cub headed off to bed on its own!

A nice sunny day. Just a morning trip out and spent most of the time watching the Otters. Some decent views of Golden Eagle before heading home for lunch.

A short trip out to fill the car up. Quite surprised to see an Otter cross the road while filling the car! A few Mountain Hares were running around on the beach with the Barnacle Geese close by. The Little Egret is still about too.

One last trip out for 2024. A showery day that provided plenty to see. All the best for 2025.
