e perched on the hillside in the village of Penrhyndeudraeth (aka “Penrhyn”), which lies between Porthmadog and Beddgelert in Snowdonia. It’s just 2 miles from the world-famous art-deco village of Portmeirion. The cottage enjoys views of the Dwyryd estuary below and the Snowdonia mountains towards Harlech and Cader Idris beyond. There is central heating throughout, so it’s lovely and cosy all year round. Laid out over three floors, Idris Bach is a roomy one-bedroom cottage and all the rooms are bright and airy. Idris Bach cottage comes with free wi-fi and all modern conveniences. The open-plan kitchen / dining room on the lower ground floor is fully equipped with all you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine, and a stable door leads outside to the back garden. The Ffestiniog Steam Railway runs through Penrhyndeudraeth and the station is just a few hundred yards along the road from Idris Bach cottage. From here you can use the steam train network to get around Snowdonia, or just take a ride for fun.
