What a beautiful weekend, with great views of Blencathra and the Helvellyn range from Fell View holiday home overlooking Penrith. Then a 10 minute drive and you are in the fantastic Lowther valley with walks from Lowther Castle along the river and a longer walk to Pooley Bridge and Ullswater. Concluding with a lovely sunset.
