It's has been a very busy day today with both the coaches out on the road, as we were helping two other local coach companys out. thank you to Chris Stainton at KT's coaches for lending me one of his drivers for the day, as one of the trips required two drivers, returning a school group back to Ipswich from the lake district. It's nice to be working in a industry where we can all work together and help each other.

Join JD Coaches for an amazing day to Chatsworth House, one of the finest country stately houses in the UK. This stately home has featured on many TV programmes and movies including Pride and Prejudice, Peaky Blinders and Country File. The house is well known for its christmas decorations as each year each room is decorated for the festive season, with each room having it own theme.
Also not to be forgotten the old style Christmas market too, with many local businesses and crafts attending.

Today we are with a local group from Penrith visiting, Keighley & The Worth Valley Railway for a ride on the trains and a private tour of there loco sheds.
This railway was used for the filming of the 1970 movie, The Railway Children.

DUMFRIES HOUSE 🏫
Today we are away on one of our day trips to Dumfries House & Gardens. Luckily the rain shower finished as we arrived as that was all planned 😉 Some for our passengers have had a guided tour around the house too with there amazing and knowledgeable guides.
