The Bee Eater is a colourful Kenyan bird that feeds on bees, wasps and other flying insects caught mid-air with its curved beak. They perch and scan for prey, then swiftly launch to catch insects, removing stingers before swallowing. Bee Eaters nest colonially along riverbanks and are known for their vibrant green, blue and yellow plumage.
