The Bee Eater is a colourful Kenyan bird that feeds on bees, wasps and other flying insects caught mid-air with its curved beak. They perch and scan for prey, then swiftly launch to catch insects, removing stingers before swallowing. Bee Eaters nest colonially along riverbanks and are known for their vibrant green, blue and yellow plumage.

Our 8-day "Kenya's Birds & Wildlife Tour" visits top birding and wildlife destinations like Rift Valley lakes, Kakamega Forest, Lake Victoria and Masai Mara. It offers over 300 bird species and chances to see iconic mammals like elephants, lions and wildebeest migrations. Small group size of 6 allows an intimate nature experience guided by experts in Kenya's remarkable biodiversity hotspots.
