Open Day at Winton Park Gardens near Kirkby Stephen this Sunday 11th August (in aid of Eden Animal Rescue). Situated on the banks of the River Eden, the garden enjoys far reaching views of Wild Boar Fell and Mallerstang Edge to the south.

The annual Penrith May Day Carnival 2024 will be taking place this bank holiday Monday (Monday 6 May 2024) and will include a variety of activities such as street stalls, funfair, musical entertainment, cultural demonstrations, static displays and a celebration of the May Queen.

Everyone is welcome at the FREE event, so please do make your way down to the town centre for a day of fun!

After a busy Easter it has been a little bit quiet due to the wind and rain we have encountered in Cumbria.
However, it has dried and warmed up this week ! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
The daffodils and tulips are looking stunning 🌷
Pied wagtails, greenfinches, starlings are nest building and the swallows have made a brief appearance!
