You will be as 'snug as a bug' in the boathouse no matter what the weather is doing outside. Having just undergone a mini makeover we have added new soft furnishings, Wi-Fi and Smart TV.

Imagine snuggling in front of the wood burning stove whilst watching the latest films on the smart tv before retiring to bed where you can star gaze before gently drifting off to sleep to the rhythmic sound of the lake gently lapping below.

December has now been reduced including Christmas availability.

Father Christmas has been enjoying a relaxing break at the boathouse before his busy day next month, or in his words "the big show".

Being one of the first to stay with us since our mini makeover it is fair to say he enjoyed his break "Simply wonderful" and "Loved it, the perfect break" were just a few of his comments.

Our latest guest has dreamed of staying at the boathouse since she was a little girl.

"I have driven past this boathoyse every year since childhood and finally got the chance to stay. It was everything I expected and more.
I could have spent the whole of my time just sitting on the balcony, the view is amazing and so relaxing listening to the water below and watching the ducks.
I would love to return in the winter and sit in front of the wood burner, it would be so cosy.
Highly recommend staying here."
