Want to know the history behind the names of our four holiday cottages?
Well, they are based on the four branches of the Mabinogion tales. We wanted to keep the rich Welsh culture and folklore in our cottages and have many fond memories of the Mabinogion tales as children. So we wanted to share these tales with our holiday makers!
The four branches of the tales are:
Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed
Branwen, daughter of Llyr
Manawydan, son of Llyr
Math, son of Mathonwy
In each cottage, there is a copy of the English translation of the four branches of the Mabinogion tales. Be sure to read them during your stay!
