Perran Sands Surf School runs Surfing and Stand up Paddleboarding lessons from Perran Sands Holiday Park just along from Perranporth, Cornwall. Our experienced instructors cater for beginner to intermediate surfers, so no previous experience needed! All equipment is included in the lesson price, so just bring your towel and your desire to learn and have fun! Lessons run daily from 10 am and 2pm fo

r 2 hours (please arive 15 minute early). Lessons are open to holiday makers on the park. Prices:

Introducing our Surf instructor for the 2021 season!

Craig has joined us this year as a newly qualified Pool lifeguard, Beach lifeguard and Surf Instructor.

An avid surfer for over 10 years, having the joys of surfing in many different countries and continents!

Craig is looking forward to putting all of his knowledge and assets together to help you catch your first wave or to progress your skills even further!

Don't forget to pop into the Activity HUB when on park to book your lesson, or use the Haven What's On App to book prior to your holiday!

What a crazy 2020 season we had

Fingers crossed we hear our road map to reopening on next week and we can start getting ready to welcome our owners and guest back to park to enjoy our amazing facilities and surf school

Amazing group in which we saw some returners, working with slightly heavier waves but my gosh these guys handled it like pros 🏄‍♂️

13:00 lesson on Thursday was cut very short due to the beach being red flagged 10 minutes before we hit the water. Such a shame but thank you for all being understanding.

Water safety is so important. Always be safe and listen to the RNLI

Thursday 29th August lesson saw this bunch head out at 10:00. The beach was a little quieter, so plenty of room to catch some waves.

Yesterday surf lesson all did really well. We had the storm clouds moving in but it didn't stop this dream team for all getting up and having so much fun!

Well done to all 3 grown ups who really did use every ounce of strength to get up on the smaller waves!

Special well done to moana and ozzy man for being relentless with paddling

Yesterday afternoon session was brilliant again. Soooo much fun. We was lovely the sunshine before the storm

Really positive group from all over the UK from all different backgrounds etc coming together and really supporting each other when one would accomplish somthing, really beautiful to see. Extra big thankyou to grace (seen here standing on the board) who helped me demonstrate today's session great team work everyone well done! 🙏

Some awesome surf lessons yesterday. Starting with the morning group.

Some impressive stuff, really did blow me away!! You all managed every single step leading to being able to stand and ride a wave smoothly and with confidence. A real fun group who really did put everything they had into smashing this session out of the water!

Monday’s lesson

Great surf lesson today really lovely group from all over the country enjoying our waters. On occasions the conditions in the water can change in a split second. Thanks to everyone listening to our safety brief closely the lesson finished a little early but with everyone in one piece

Please please all remember what an incredible job the rnli team do for us.
-For surfing its the black and white flags
-Swimming and body boarding its the red and yellow flags
Please look for these areas when visiting our beautiful beach they are here to keep us safe

Not all hero's wear capes one rescue today by our surf coach could of easily been multiple

Remeber enjoy the water and respect its power and beauty. Huge well done to our group from today special thankyou to Joe for his help with your surf hire needs and his coffee skills in the cafe
