If you overindulged during the holidays and feel the need to escape to the great outdoors, our beautifully appointed stone-built steading properties, Falcon and Merlin, are available now for short breaks throughout January and February.

Located on our historic Scottish estate, they provide a fantastic base to explore the stunning Perthshire countryside.

Falcon Steading sleeps up to six guests in three gorgeous en-suite bedrooms. Its spacious living area with a wood-burning stove and full-height windows provides the perfect place to relax with friends and family.

Adjoining it, the slightly smaller Merlin Steading sleeps up to four guests in two beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms. You’ll feel at home in the open-plan living area with its plush leather sofa, cosy throws and contemporary wood-burner.

Both properties have fully-equipped kitchens including built-in ovens, microwaves and smart butler sinks. There’s plenty of space in our boot rooms to store your outdoor clothing, and there’s laundry facilities if you need to wash your clothes after a day on the hills.

Each property also has its own luxury hot-tub providing the perfect place to relax if you need a little “me-time”.

Baskets of local produce provide a warm welcome, and complimentary luxury toiletries mean you’ll have everything you need for your stay.

We won!

Logiealmond Estate has been awarded the Contribution to the Environment Award in the of Commerce Business Star Awards!

Pictured, is our gamekeeper Stephen Fletcher and his partner Caitlin Wood, accepting the award on behalf of the Estate at last weekend’s glittering ceremony held at Crieff Hydro.

Stephen, like all of us, is working hard to make Logiealmond Estate an eco-friendly establishment and a truly unique, luxurious, and memorable place to visit.

This award reflects our investment in enhancing the Estate, upgrading the existing land and restoring derelict buildings, and we’re on track to achieving our goal to be a carbon-neutral business.

Furthermore, we’re proud to be home to a vast number of red-listed birds, and the highest number of registered birds in Scotland, with a golden eagle, ospreys, red kites, buzzards and 54 breeding pairs of curlews.

We’re undertaking large-scale replanting of over 300,000 mixed native Scottish broadleaf trees, restoring peatland areas, protecting ecosystems, and enhancing carbon capture.

Across our accommodation, we utilise the latest renewable energy technologies. Ground source pumps keep our properties warm, whilst biomass generators and photovoltaics generate energy for all our luxury accommodation.

Laverockbank Steading is perfect for your winter, Christmas or New Year escape.

This gorgeous 18th century stone-built millhouse has been renovated to create a luxury country villa with all modern conveniences.

It’s all on one level for easy access and can accommodate up to six guests in three beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms. There are two super king-size beds, and one king-size bed that can be split into two single beds making this property perfect for family gatherings.

At Logiealmond Estate we’re very proud of our long history, and take great care to continue its living legacy. Recently, we were very pleased to welcome Mr Logie from his home in Australia.

The estate’s history hails back to Sir John Logie (born 1350). Before his untimely death, he had a son with Margaret Logie, born Drummond, who after Sir John’s death, would marry David II, King of Scotland. Her son John inherited the estate, and it was passed from father to son, until eventually it came into the ownership of the Countess Lady Margaret Logie (born 1487). Her marriage to Thomas Hay ended the family’s direct ownership of Logiealmond Estate.

This October, we were delighted to welcome Mr Logie (pictured with our Estate Manager, Philip) who has traced his family tree back through 800 years to Sir John Logie.

We felt an immense sense of pride hosting Mr Logie, and providing the opportunity for him to explore the land that bears his name, in this beautiful part of Scotland.

This memorable reconnection has further resolved our efforts to provide an experience steeped in luxury, belonging, and respect for Scotland’s rich history. We provide more than just holiday accommodation; we are custodians of a legacy, offering guests an unparalleled view into Scotland’s vibrant past.

Entrants have to demonstrate a commitment to growth, a track record in customer satisfaction and a continued commitment to exceeding customer expectations by providing a unique customer experience.
