Welcome to Salmon Fishing Holidays Scotland (SFHS) page. SFHS and the "Big 4 in 4™" are divisions of the Scottish Salmon Fishing Surgery Group. The SFHS concept was devised by husband and wife team Sandy & Samantha Datta. Having salmon fished in Scotland for over 35 years, we initially founded Scotland’s first online salmon fishing magazine, www.scottishsalmonfishingsurgery.com (SSFS). W

e now have readers from all over the world in over 71 countries. With the magazine proving to be a great success among the salmon fishing fraternity, we felt that it would be good for other anglers to experience the same enjoyment we have had and are having from fishing for salmon in Scotland. With our numerous selected partners across Scotland, we can arrange salmon fishing on a multitude of rivers, from the stunning Thurso, Helmsdale and Alness in the tranquil Scottish Highlands, to the famous larger rivers like the Dee, Spey, Tay and Tweed. We also offer guided salmon fishing in Scotland. We have been fortunate enough to gather a wealth of experience and diversity when it comes to our international world-class guiding team. Our team has both local Scottish and Scandinavian guides, as well as female guides. A number of our guides are part of the LTS Across team Sweden. The Scandinavian style of salmon fishing is becoming ever more popular in Scotland and our international guides can give you instruction and tips on how to fish for Atlantic Salmon, the modern Scandinavian way. We also arrange single day salmon fishing on some of the most prolific beats across the country. Through our various selected partners we are also able to offer discounted salmon fishing on many well known rivers in Scotland. SFHS is the home of the "Big 4 in 4" Scottish salmon fishing challenge. The world famous ''Macnab'' challenge, namely to stalk a Red Deer, shoot a brace of Grouse and catch a salmon all within one day is synonymous with Scotland and is derived from the famous novel by John Buchan under the title ''John Macnab''. The challenge is highly prized amongst the sporting fraternity. SFHS have developed the ultimate Scottish salmon fishing challenge, which rivals the famous "Macnab" in every way. The "Big 4 in 4" challenge, gives you the unique opportunity to fish on each of Scotland's world famous "big four" salmon rivers, the River Dee, Spey, Tay and Tweed on four consecutive days.
