About the Neighbourhood:
Glinton offers an 18th Century Country Pub The Blue Bell, offering traditional classic and a la Carte menus. There is also a Nisa shop and post office in the village. Within a couple of miles there is a Tesco supermarket and slightly further; Morrisons, M&S Foodhall and Sainsburys.
Delicious scones and lunches can be enjoyed at the nearby Barn Garden Centre and the highly rated Lilli's Tearoom can be found in Market Deeping, 3.5 miles away.
There are various scenic footpaths only a few minutes walk from your accommodation; perfect for dog walking. Additionally, should you wish to explore further afield and leave the car behind, bikes can be made available with toddler seats if required.

Getting around
The City of Peterborough has an extensive and well integrated road network and has the fastest peak and off-peak travel times for a city of its size in the UK. The A1 runs from London through Peterborough (Junction 17), continuing north to Edinburgh.
The Stables Barn is ideally located only a short drive from Peterborough train station; a central hub with very good links to major cities in England. It is less than an hour to Cambridge and 50 minutes to Kings Cross in London.
Local taxis and regular bus services are available.
There are lots of local footpaths perfect for walking dogs. Glinton is also on the 'Peterborough Green Wheel' 45 mile cycling route which circles the City with 'spokes' leading from the perimeter into the city centre.
