The farm covers approximately 250 acres including arable and grassland and we have sheep and free range organically fed hens producing eggs. We also grow thatching straw which is much in demand, when you visit you will note the abundance of thatched properties in the Pewsey Vale.

Duck’s Cottage was originally built in 1815 as the stable block adjacent to Charlton Manor and having become rather dilapidated the building as fully restored and converted into holiday accommodation in 2015.

Dogs are Welcome!!

Duck’s Cottage has been designed to be just as welcoming to you canine friend as it is to you. Downstairs the floor is tiled throughout so muddy paw prints are easy to remove but we do request that you don’t let your furry friend on the furniture or upstairs.
There is a securely fenced garden and plenty of lovely walks straight from the door. We just ask that you pick up behind your dog, keep them under control and on a lead around livestock. Many of the local tourist attractions, pubs and cafes also welcome dogs so you need not worry about having to leave them behind.
