A traditional, solid stone mid terrace house with accommodation arranged over three floors. It is estimated that the property was built in approximately 1830 - It is very old! Many of the houses along the street and town are Grade II listed, and The Swiss Cottage is part of a conservation area, and valued as a place of local interest to be maintained for years to come. There is a double story flat

roof section to the house at the rear, built in the 1950s and accommodating the Kitchen and additional bedroom and reading room. The front faces a westerly direction, offering the back garden both morning and evening sun opportunities each day. Someone told me this morning that ChatGPT can draw anything you ask it to. So I gave it a go, asking it to draw an illustration of Pickering, North Yorkshire. With the castle at the top, and the railway at the bottom, Burgate and Market place adjacent to each other. Here are the results. The first one looks nothing like Pickering, but after some small adjustments … they could certainly pass for market towns in the UK.
