🤩 When Sarah is not pulling ‘Carry-On’ faces, she can be found at the back of the shop creating masterpieces or leading painting workshops at The Memorial Hall.

🤩 Here, Sarah, is working on some giant baubles fashioned out of beach-balls for their Christmas display.

We're really looking forward to poet and author, Wendy Pratt's event with us.

Wendy has published six poetry collections and her memoir, 'The Ghost Lake' was longlisted for the prestigious Nan Shepherd Prize for nature writing.

'The Ghost Lake' is inspired by paleolake Flixton, an extinct lake in North Yorkshire. It is a moving meditation on local history and changing landscapes, combining nature writing with memoir, and an exploration of grief and belonging.

This promises to be a captivating evening for fans of poetry, memoir and nature writing and also those who are interested in the ancient history of a nationally imortant site within our locality. Looking forward to seeing you in the shop, Wendy!
