⚠️ Disruption to WiFi at Upper Carr

You may find temporary disruption throughout the course of the day to the internet supply due to local work being carried out by BT.

It is hoped the work should be completed today and that will allow normal internet provisions by later today or tomorrow.

🤩🥳 WE'VE GOT SOME GREAT NEWS FOR OUR OWNERS! AGE LIMITS ON HOLIDAY HOMES ARE BEING REMOVED!

When you bought your caravan there was a limit to the amount of time you were allowed to keep your caravan on the park, however as the Flower of May Holiday Parks grow and develop we are delighted to be able to remove that limit and you can stay for longer!

This is a polite reminder that your gas and electric bills are due to be paid by the 2nd December. You should have received an invoice in the post. If you haven't please contact us as soon as possible.

❄️ PRIVATE OWNERS - reminder to drain down your holiday home...

With the end of the season at Upper Carr approaching, we just wanted to remind you to organise your drain down for when you prepare your holiday home for the close season. There are a number of companies which will do this for you, and forms can be collected from reception.

The last day of the season is 7th January 2023.

⚠️ Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's Funeral

On Monday 19th September, our parks will be operating on a reduced staff to enable everyone to pay their respects, while keeping the essential operations open for those staying on the park.

‼️ACTION REQUIRED - Visiting Upper Carr this weekend

Update: Due to the on-going problems with gas supply to the caravans at Upper Carr, we are working through getting the gas back on to the holiday homes.
We will try to prioritise those who were planning to come to the park this weekend where possible.

To help us prioritise we need you to let us know if you were intending to visit this weekend by calling us on 01723 584311 with your pitch number and name as a matter of urgency.

We will be contacting owners by phone too, but please help speed things up by carrying out the requested action.

⚠️ Due to the extreme heat over the past couple of days, there has been some issues with the gas supply. Overnight (19th July) the gas was off completely and it has been intermittent since then.

We have been advised this may continue and we are unable to put a timeframe on a return to normal. It is hoped the temperatures returning to a more normal level for this time of year should help.

⛔️ No entry to the park ⛔️

Please be aware that there will be no access to the park to start 'setting up' your holiday home until Upper Carr Holiday Park opens at 9am on 1st March (private holiday homes only). Anyone seen to be trying to access their caravan for anything other than checking the caravan is safe and secure will be asked to leave the park.

👤 Before we can take any payment, we need to ensure we have your proofs of address. This is a licensing requirement set out by the local councils that we have to comply with.

📲 You can once again submit these online in a quick, easy and secure manner via our website. We have improved the online form further to provide more detail and a more personalised approach.

☀️ As we start to 'get back to normal' we are encouraging all our guests to be considerate towards others and help us to continue to protect both our staff and fellow guests. As cases of COVID-19 are causing staff to isolate across all areas of society, it's important we keep everyone safe to ensure that we can continue to operate as normal.

We ask everyone to follow the simple guidance below:
🟢 Please do not attend the park or facilities if you feel unwell for any reason

🟢 You do not have to wear a face covering in communal areas but if you wish to do so you will be supported and encouraged in this, our staff may choose to still wear a face covering and screens will remain in place

🟢 We are still displaying and providing information to complete the Track and Trace but this is no longer mandatory

We're looking forward to re-opening for our private owners and touring guests next week! 🤩

Before you arrive there is some important information for you:

We are required, by the Government, to obtain details of every guest visiting our parks.

➖ A COVID-19 Guest Registration Form must be completed by every person over 16 years of age
➖ If you are using the NHS QR code to scan in, you must do this every day you are on park as the app ‘logs out’ at midnight
➖ Owners and seasonal tourers must ‘check-in’ or complete a form on every visit

There are three ways to complete the necessary details:

We would like to respectfully remind customers that we are still closed and will remain so until 9am on 12th April.

Visits to your holiday home or touring caravan before that date are for essential maintenance, by one person only, and by prior arrangement by calling head office on 01723 584311. It should be considered that the government is still asking you to ‘stay local’ at this time. We look forward to seeing you again from the 12th April.
