21 years ago we realised our dream of owning a wee holiday cottage on Loch Rannoch. It didn’t take us long to realise just how special this place is & what a fantastic lifestyle investment that was.

Over the years we have cared for, extended & loved this cottage whilst welcoming friends, family & guests to enjoy it as much as we do. So many happy memories have been created whilst we walked, ran, cycled, swam, star gazed or just sat and laughed, had the odd bonfire, relaxed & enjoyed the cottage.

So it is very much with mixed emotions that we have made the incredibly difficult decision to sell the cottage, start a new chapter in our lives & allow someone else to love & enjoy it as much as we do and make their own very special memories…

We’re looking for a new housekeeper with immediate effect to help us with our cottage turnarounds (on a Friday). Previous experience will be a bonus but not essential as it’s pretty straightforward work and we will provide clear instructions on what’s involved.

Typically it will take 4 hours between 10am & 4pm and we offer very competitive pay.

Every cloud… Delighted to share that we’re back! Cottage is all sorted after the flood and had quite a make-over, with Dawn having some inspired ideas to further improve the layout and facilities at the cottage. I know I’m biased but we are delighted with the outcome after the heartache of the devastation caused by the flood. We are confident our guests will love the ‘new’ cottage. We are welcoming our first guests for 2024 today and have just taken two last minute bookings for November so things are very much getting back to normal 😊

Heart breaking to see the cottage in its present state following the flood in December. Pleased that work is about to begin to restore the cottage to its former glory. In fact we’re confident it will be even better than before!

We’ve been busy at the cottage carrying out some maintenance jobs and getting things ready for our guests. Always lovely to just take a moment, enjoy the view & tranquility in front of a bonfire.
