Job opportunities at Wasted Degrees: we're growing the team! We have two part-time roles available. Please apply by 27th April. Details and contact information below.
ROLE 1: Delivery Driver, £12.60 per hour, permanent, part-time.
This is a 1 day (7.5hr) per week role, specifically Thursdays. You must have a full, clean UK driving license and be prepared to drive throughout Perth & Kinross (sometimes further afield) in the brewery's long-wheelbase van. Due to insurance reasons, applicants must be 25+.
This is a physically demanding role where you will be lifting large volumes of packaged beer in & out of the brewery delivery van manually, with some containers weighing upwards of 65kg each. Technology plays a significant part in this role, with inventory & deliveries being organised through a cloud-based platform. As a responsible producer and retailer of products containing alcohol, our team is expected to uphold high standards of governance. You will be a 'face and voice of the business' as you meet, communicate with and support our customers. PPE, brewery merchandise and training will be provided. Eligible for staff discount on Wasted Degrees products.
ROLE 2: Taproom Staff (bar and food service, table management), £12.60 per hour, fixed term, part-time.
This is a 1 day per week role, specifically Saturdays 13:00 - 21:30 up to and including 4th October 2025.
As this role involves the sale & service of products containing alcohol, applicants must be 18+. Prior hospitality experience isn't necessary, but is handy. Knowledge of craft beer is useful, but not mandatory. Personal License is advantageous, but training can otherwise be provided.
This role could be combined with our Delivery role if the applicant desires, subject to satisfying the combined criteria.
Brewery merchandise provided. Pizza and soft drinks available on shift, plus a take home pizza. Eligible for staff discount on Wasted Degrees products. Tips available.
APPLICATIONS:First and foremost, we want people who are a cultural fit with Wasted Degrees, who work hard and display common values and attitudes to us.
You must have the right to work in the UK.
Your CV needn't be more than two sides of A4, it should include a wee intro about yourself and clearly indicate your suitability for the role(s). Covering letters are discouraged.
