We have been working hard to fully refurb and renovate the basement level of our victorian townhouse in a prime location of Plymouth, The Hoe, in order to bring it to you for your holidays and stays when you come to visit.

We are still adding finishing touches but first, because I'm feeling rebellious, my first picture is of our gorgeous bathroom and yes - you can see the toilet!

Who cooks when away on holiday?

We are surrounded by so many restaurants, takeaways and places to pick up food, you will be spoilt for choice! But in the event you do want to pop to the local shop and cook a feast, we've got you covered with all integrated appliances including this oven and microwave. We have kids so understand that it's easier sometimes to feed the kids before going out or ordering that takeaway (our favourite is from )

Don't worry - the dishwasher will also help with the clean up so you can enjoy enjoy your trip without doing the dishes!

We know holidays are about time together and to relax, which is why we felt it important to make sure we created a cozy, social space as the main relax area when you're not off sight seeing and exploring the cobble streets of The Barbican.

We love this open plan kitchen /Living area so you can be together
when one is eating and the other chilling!

Lots of extra seating with the bar stool dining table, but we've also ensured there are a couple of high back chairs available as well as a high chair to suit families coming to stay!

Just let us know what is required as we can also provide a 'next to me' co sleeper/cot and baby bath.

If you don't fancy going out of an evening then we've got you covered with the perfect sitting area and smart TV which comes ready with Netflix and Amazon prime installed - you'll just need to login to your account and off you go!

We've got some side tables but undecided as to whether a coffee table might be referred in this space... let us know yours thoughts?

Our second bedroom can be made up in two ways - either as two 2ft 6 singles or zipped and linked together as a kingsize!

Here is bedroom two as a kigngsize. We provide all bed linen and towels. The towels are a 600TC Royal Egyptian Cotton and comes is two different shades so you don't mix up towels with whoever you're sharing a room with!

Fun fact about this added space in the bedroom... we didn't even know it was there until the plaster on the wall had to come down during renovations. It used to be an old coal store when this basement level would have housed the servants for the main townhouse and 3 additional floors above. We uncovered the complete bell system under the floorboards during renovations elsewhere in the house so it's full of history - it was built circa 1890!
