We still have some availability at the Seafarer. So many wonderful place to visit in the Royal William Yard and surrounding areas. Our apartment is also dog friendly with lots of local dog friendly cafes, bars and fabulous walks. Fabulous to see Plymouth has been listed for one of the top destinations. Repost

Plymouth and the South West's major new museum, art gallery and archive with 2022 European Museum of the Year. Discover 14 Victorian Royal Naval figureheads re-imagined in a unique suspended display and also meet Mildred the life sized woolly mammoth. Fantastic place for exploring with your little ones.

Here’s a snippet ‘make sure you find time to hang out in Royal William Yard, a collection of beautifully restored Grade I-listed buildings, once a Royal Navy victualling yard and now home to bars, restaurants, galleries, shops, hotels and apartments’.

The countdown to Christmas is on, and plenty is planned at Royal William Yard throughout the winter to make it a memorable occasion. There will be bustling Christmas markets under the stars with tempting treats aplenty; gifts galore from the South West’s best artisans and makers; festive tunes from a Barbershop Choir; and an abundance of places to eat, drink and be merry.

Been dying to try this pizza 🍕 for a while and it was well worth the wait 🙌 love the building steeped in history and a real gothic feel to it ❤️ The Prysten House is one of Plymouth’s finest early buildings, dating from the year 1500, this historic courtyard house has within it a number of American plaques. Prysten House’s north garden door (facing St. Andrew’s Church) is today known as the “Door of Unity” (so named on 30th May 1930). Alongside it is mounted a most interesting American tombstone, dating from the maritime warfare of 1812-14 between Great Britain and President Madison’s USA.
