Today is an extremely sad day here at Oakleys.
We have sadly lost one of our wonderful colleagues/ friend George.
George really was one of the good guys.
He really was a popular colleague and a true gentleman.
RIP George. You really are sadly missed by us all. 😢

Oakleys Coaches have a vacancy for a PCV school contract driver running out of Ivybridge Community College.
Covering a morning and afternoon school contract. Working approximately 3.5 hours per day, term time only. Good rates of pay for very little work.
We offer a salary based pay so you are paid 52 weeks of the year.

I’m afraid IVY031 will not be operating this morning.
We had a call during the night to tell us that the driver has be taken ill.
We now have 5 drivers absent so we have no one spare.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this will cause.
We are trying to get cover for the afternoon run, so will update you later this morning.

We have a vacancy for a vehicle technician/mechanic.
The role will be to service and inspect our fleet of minibuses and midi coaches to DVSA standards and prepare vehicles for annual test.
Flexible hours available to suit the right candidate.
Good rate of Pay which is negotiable depending on qualification and experience.

TAV003 school bus is running extremely late this morning.
The bus is still going to run the full route. If any students are able to wait for the bus it is running an hour late.

This is our new workshop/depot in Tavistock.
We have just had the 1st of two vehicle lifts installed by Hickleys Garage Equipment.
This is for our minibuses.
Great job done.
Big thank you to Adam Dawe for connecting the electric supply at the same time so the lift could be tested and certified today 😊

We have an issue with our IVY31 school bus this morning. It is going to run but we have had an issue with the bus. Please be patient, it will be running.

We can offer between 25 and 40 hours per week depending upon what you are looking for.
Mainly Monday to Friday work.
Driving vehicles from a 16 seat minibus to a 33 seat midi coach.
This will be covering school contracts and local private hire work.
The applicants must be able to pass a DBS check.

IVY032 the Ugborough Primary school bus has broken down this morning.
A replacement bus is on route but the bus will be running about 30 minutes late this morning.

None of these school bus are running this morning due to the weather conditions.

IVY022 is running at the moment.
TAV003 is running from Dousland only.

Our TAV017 Chillaton to Milton Abbot school bus has been cancelled this morning due to ice and snow.

Unfortunately due to the extreme weather conditions IVY32 from Wrangaton to Ugborough Primary school will not be running this morning.
The bus will run this afternoon once it warms up a bit and thaws.
