This November, LawCare is focusing on the profound impact of grief and loss in the legal sector. Grief and loss are the feelings of sadness and pain that people feel when they lose something or someone important to them. This can happen when someone close to them dies, a pregnancy loss occurs, a relationship ends or a cherished pet dies.

In a demanding legal environment, these feelings can become even harder to deal with, impacting both work and home life. It's important to recognise and address the effects of grief to provide the right support and understanding for those going through it.

📢 Let’s talk about grief and loss webinar - 7 November from 12.30 to 1.30pm, join LawCare for a webinar on how grief and loss affect those in the legal sector.

The webinar will help you understand these issues better and provide practical strategies to support your colleagues. Hear from our panel as they share valuable insights and experiences. >> Sign up for the webinar here: https://lawcare.beaconforms.com/form/97b619dc

It’s been a month since members of the Plymouth Law Society committee attended the launch of The Family Law Company campaign at Plymouth Arts Cinema. We heard 8 inspiring stories of bravery some from those in the legal profession like Adele Hunt and Ian Hunt. The campaign celebrate acts of bravery within our communities and I am sure we all know colleagues and clients who have demonstrated this. If you know someone who has shown remarkable bravery, now is the time to nominate them.

Nominations close on January 31, 2025 https://www.thefamilylawco.co.uk/everyday-bravery/
