Clyngwyn Farm offers 19 bed Bunkhouse, Farmhouse sleeping 4-6 & group camping accommodation in the Brecon Beacons National Park. 90’ Polytunnel available for events. Clyngwyn Farm is a very special place to stay, 5 minutes walk from the Waterfall Trails and 15 minute drive to Pen y Fan. www.bunkhouse-south-wales.co.uk

Stone barn housing up to 19 with camping facilities. There are 3 sleeping areas

, a room with 2 sets of bunk beds, a room with 4 singles and a shower room and the main upstairs room with 11 singles. If you need more space, we have 3 fully renovated rooms in our 17th Century Welsh Longhouse providing 1 fabulously comfy King size bed, 1 Double and 1 Twin or King. Brand new shared bathroom plus extra separate loo. All rooms with quality beds and furnishings. These rooms are available to you if you are also booking the Bunkhouse. The Bunkhouse has a fully equipped kitchen with gas central heating which ensures a nice cosy stay. Outside, a purpose built seating area with barbeque and a fire pit with an undercover area and picnic tables. If you’re looking for group accommodation, Clyngwyn is the perfect base for your short break. Ideal for your family get-together, walking group, school camp, DoE, birthday party, stag or hen do, reunion or wedding. Great for off-site meetings and corporate residential breaks too. Catering is available. Asda and Sainsbury’s deliver so you can do your online shopping and have your supplies delivered as soon as you arrive. However, if you want to eat out, the villages of Ystradfellte and Pontneddfechan are only two and half miles away and both have great pubs who serve food. We also have a coffee shop on site. Being in the Brecon Beacons National Park, we are in the heart of waterfall country, and very near to the famous caves and waterfalls of Ystradfellte, South Wales. The waterfalls of Clyngwyn are literally on our doorstep. Sgwd Clun Gwyn waterfall, the first of the Four Falls on the Afon Mellte is just a short 5 minute walk away. We are the closest accommodation to the famous Sgwd Yr Eira waterfalls, which you can walk behind. The Brecon Beacons National Park is perfect for outdoor activities. We can help to organise your perfect break with Hiking, mountain biking, gorge walking, kayaking, wild swimming, canyoning, caving, abseiling, clay pigeon shooting, archery, climbing, Quad biking, photography, horse riding, painting and yoga. Clyngwyn is also a perfect choice as your rural wedding venue. We can provide breakfast, lunches and evening meals by prior arrangement. Message us for a sample menu. Vegan menu included.

I try not to complain but…..
We have to put our bins out on the road on a Wednesday night for early collection Thursday. When the public just dump things in our bins, unless they’re in the correct bins, they don’t get collected. This means that I clean up after you. PLEASE TAKE YOUR OWN RUBBISH HOME - KNOW THE COUNTRYSIDE CODE - SIMPLE. Rant over.

Met these lovely guys this week. Once they had passed security, Dexter was happy to model 😆They have designed these fabulous travel blankets/mats which fold into nothing and provide a comfy padded blankie for when you’re out and about. For every one you buy they donate one. How lovely is that 🥰 They have two rescue dogs - one who adopted them in Greece and one from www.soidog.org - and are dedicated to supporting the welfare of abandoned dogs. Please share and support these lovely people if you can ❤️🐾

New Year New Flag 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 This weekend we opened the Cafe for 2024 to help warm you all up 🤗 Open daily in School Holidays 11-3 and Weekends 10-4 until the clocks change. Unless of course it’s really cold or really wet and everyone sensibly stays indoors by the fire 🔥 in which case, that’s where I’ll be too!

Please be careful with our local sheep - they are the life blood of our local farmers 🐑❤️🐑

Did you know at this time of year, ewes have been tupped? This means they are hopefully pregnant with lambs 🐑🖍

Please be particularly cautious when in the countryside with your dog at this time of year – an incident of sheep worrying can cost a farmer’s livelihood 🐕

Yay - sheepie is safe 👏👏👏 After two days on the ledge, with the help of Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, farmers Thomas, Craig and Trevor unceremoniously lifted her to higher ground, apparently unscathed, even if she did try to give us all a scare 🙈 To everyone when has been to the cafe today, very concerned about her well-being, she is enjoying a much more relaxed evening. Thanks to everyone involved - we can rest easy tonight ❤️🐑❤️
