An amazing find - great little cabin with everything you need in a perfect location. Ideal for travelling around the Island and within walking distance of 3 great whisky distilleries (the furthest is less than 30 mins by foot). Ron and Emma were both extremely hospitable, and were full of great suggestions for places to visit. Couldn't recommend this place more.”

After promising a guest to share our sourdough order from The Island Bakehouse then finding out they were having a well earned break we needed to bake some bread. Not sourdough, an overnight, one pot bread with Wessex Mill cobber bread flour. Friday is delivery day on islay for the island Bakehouse, happy to add to our order if you are arriving at the weekend.

What a fantastic road trip, if you have booked to come to could easily combine. Kennacraig ferry port is part of the route.

These smoked mussels are so delicious. Campbells in Port Ellen is an Aladdins cave of food, drink, hardware, newspapers. Fantastic deli counter, wholefoods , drinks and specialist diet products. Great place to pick up picnic items.

If you would like to hire bikes, path opposite is great for them, contact Jim at Islay Cycles or for electric bicycles .

Met these lovely people 4 years ago. We had a morning of cycling lessons, so they hired bikes. Before leaving, they bought bikes from me and they have gone from strength to strength. Back again to hire bikes. As they said, "It's never too late to start cycling and benefit your health."

today. Three distilleries path opposite the cabin with fabulous sea/countryside views and access to amazing distilleries is the perfect place to start cycling on . If you don’t have a bicycle Islay Cycles or Islayewheels can hire you one or have a guided fat bike tour with Kayak Wild Islay.

Beautiful Spring morning to share the view from Isle Adilla cabin. In line with Scottish government guidelines we are again able to share this beautiful view with visitors from Scotland, England and Wales from the 26th April. To enjoy your staycation it will be very important to plan ahead for a visit with transport, restaurant bookings and contacting places you may wish to visit during your time on Islay. Businesses will have different reopening schedules and plans for what they are safely able to offer you.

If you are looking to visit your family on Islay whilst you are unable to stay with them, please let us know and if we have availability will be very happy to offer a discount of 30%.

Special winter Offer at Isle Adilla Cabin for residents of Islay, your friends and family (currently only if they live in level 1 or 2 in Scotland). Half price stay in our self catering luxury eco cabin at Laphroaig. To be able to respond to the changing situation only available to book within a month of arrival, pay on arrival and cancel up to and including day of arrival. Christmas and New Year not available. Maximum of 2 adults from one household, £50 per night, includes bed linen and towels. Cabin is very cosy, insulated, underfloor heating, heated towel rail, tv, speakers, WiFi, en-suite wet room. This Thursday (29th Oct) we're turning the grand old age of 14 and boy do we have some treats in store to celebrate! 🎁

We've got a whole bunch of activities planned for the day, including a fab series of live sessions over on our Instagram with special guests, and an interactive treasure hunt. But, that's NOT ALL! We've also got some wonderful stockists around the country giving out free cuppas where possible, and a pretty hefty birthday offering coming to our website...
