Manannan really had his cloak covering South Barrule when we visited on Friday to explore the hillfort. If it had been today it'd have been a very cold and snowy welcome!

At the weekend we had a National Navigation Award (NNAS) Silver navigator course in the west and south of the Isle of Man. The weather on Saturday was great for long distance views. The drenching we got on Sunday in the low cloud made for challenging conditions! Great skills shown!

A great weekend running a Mountain Training Hill Skills course in the south of the Isle of Man with inland, coastal and moorland hiking, spectacular views and excellent skills. The Loaghtan sheep and Highland cattle were a bonus!

The weather and visibility was kind to us on Wednesday morning for our walk from the summit of Snaefell to Laxey (unlike the weather in the evening...... but we were all safe by then! Great walk for Walk the Isle of Man. Walk the Isle of Man

A great day out yesterday exploring Langness and St Michael's Isle with visitors from California and North Carolina. They loved the Island and the richness of the birdlife, flowers and plants.

Great to be back out tour guiding again. Yesterday we had a visit from the Seabourn Sojourn and my guests loved travelling on the Manx Electric Railway, the Snaefell Mountain Railway and the winds at the top of Snaefell! Thanks to all who worked hard to make such good tours today.

At the weekend we ran a National Navigation Award (NNAS) Bronze navigator course in the west and south of the Isle of Man for Isle of Man Civil Defence. The bracken was a bit challenging! Great skills development shown and well done! National Navigation Award Scheme Civil Defence Isle of Man

A great day out on Monday exploring Langness and St Michael's Isle with a lovely family visiting the Isle of Man. Lots of seals to see along the way as we talked about the rocks, archaeology, history, plants, birds, animal life, nature and marine conservation! A super day.

On the 4th day of our walking holiday with we walked over Peel Hill and down the coast to Glen Mayea and the spectacular waterfall, visited Patrick Church and returned beside the River Neb, stopping to say Fastyr Mie to the Moddey Dhoo. Misty and very wet underfoot at the start but we had most of the paths to ourselves!
