Hello to all our new and been here a while followers!

We are a mother/daughter duo who rent out our 8 berth, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, pet friendly caravan! We also have gated decking for you to enjoy the sea air too! We are a 2 min walk from the beach and a 4 min walk from the pavilion, where you'll find all the bars, restaurants, and entertainment!

WHY IS HIRING A CARAVAN SO EXPENSIVE?

We are seeing this question being asked all the time, so we thought we'd give you some insight!

Firstly, everyone's prices vary and we can't speak for everyone! But for us personally, there are 'behind the scenes' admin that you may not even think about!

Say, for example, a holiday would cost you £400. Behind the scenes, we pay for a cleaner to make sure the van is clean and tidy when you go in, plus when you leave. We also have to replenish the cleaning products, wash and dry all the bedding, hand towels, throws, etc! We need to replace a gas bottle, pay towards electric that was used, and replenish the welcome pack that we have ready for you on arrival. We also need to pay our ground rent to be able to keep our caravan in the park, plus we need to pay the utility bills, which includes water, bin collection, council tax, etc!

As you can imagine, all this is not cheap and our prices have to reflect that!

We are, as always, forever grateful to you all for all the likes, shares, and bookings from you all 💖

Do you know that we offer free wifi as standard in our holiday home?

Our prices also include all cleaning products, such as fairy liquid, dish sponge, flash antibacterial spray, toilet cleaner etc! We also include a hand towel and toilet roll in each bathroom, dvds, books, teabags, coffee, sugar, sweetener plus we leave you a welcome pack of goodies too!

And most importantly, the beds are made up ready for you, so you can climb into bed after your first day and not have to worry about making the beds!

We're back! Lucie the Porthcawl Land Train is now running Wednesday to Sunday for the spring season 🚂🎉

Come see us in Porthcawl and sit back and enjoy the seafront scenery as we sweep you along the Eastern Promenade. You can travel from Coney Beach all the way up to Rest Bay and back again, with stops in-between.

The route takes in the Marina, the Main Promenade, Rest Bay water sports centre, The Grand Pavilion, the town centre, and the fairground. The total route is approximately 4 miles long and will take around 45 minutes for one round trip.

All ticket sales help to generate income for the accommodation and support we provide to formerly homeless and socially excluded adults, so you can have some fun while supporting a good cause!

How gorgeous is this view! These were taken this week, by me, only a 5 minute stroll from our caravan! Maybe a 2 minute power walk! 🤣 But who goes away to do any power walking 🤔

We only have limited summer holiday breaks left, so if you're thinking of booking, I'd advise you to do it sooner rather than later!
