A Pony Trek is a wonderful way to experience Skye. We recommend Isle of Skye trekking company based in Suladale 15 minutes from 57° North for an hours ride over the rolling hills behind their stables.

Off the beaten track 👣👣👣We enjoyed listening to Seamus talk about the croft that has been in his family for generations and his unique relationship to the land and his dogs. This 1 hour experience offers a unique glimpse into the history of crofting in the area around the Fairy Glen and training and working with sheepdogs.

We really recommend .c.e_target_sports_isleofskye for some great family activities. We enjoyed learning how to shoot some clays with Matt. Perfect for a drizzly day. We’ll be back for the archery & axe throwing with the rest of the clan! 🏹🪓

A nice easy and relatively flat walk to try 20 minutes from rewarded with spectacular views and a unique bothy- Rubha Hunish, nicknamed 'The Lookout'.

It's National Oyster Day today! Lots of wonderful places to try oysters on the Isle of Skye like . For at home dining we recommend a wonderful local fishmonger and seafood shop. Oyster shuckers provided .

The majestic Talisker Bay. This walk is suitable for all abilities so a great family walk where you'll be rewarded at the end with views of the sweeping Bay and waterfall.

We recommend a day trip to Elgol. Elgol is a fishing village on the shores of Loch Scavaig towards the end of the Strathaird peninsula on Skye.

Explore amazing geology at the cove at the bottom of the hill including honeycomb cliffs before taking the boat to the unforgettable Loch Coruisk.

One of our favourite beaches on Skye and definitely one of the most interesting- Below Duntulm Castle Ruins and 30 minutes from 57° North you will find Score Bay. At low tide footprints from Sauropods that roamed the earth 170 million years ago can be found. There are so many it's been nicknamed the dinosaur disco!
