Stardust Boat Trips Isle Of Skye Portree’s original wildlife boat trip, operating since 1998.

We operate wildlife and scenic boat trips from Portree Harbour, Isle of Skye specialising in the 4th largest eagle in the world, the White Tailed Sea Eagle. All our skippers are fully qualified with first aid and commercial endorsements and have many years experience at sea. They have extensive knowledge in both the local wildlife and impressive scenery that makes the Isle Of Skye so spectacular.

While your satisfaction and enjoyment is very important to us, safety on board our vessels is our priority, that's why our 4 boats are MCA coded. The four vessels we are currently operating are the original MV Stardust, MV Stardust II, Wavedancer and our new RIB, Saorsa of Skye.

HUMPBACKS BREACHING!

Another fantastic Cèilidh Cruise tonight - many thanks to those who came along!

This, for me, was the highlight of the cruise - Gilleasbuig MacVicar playing Calum’s Road, written by Donald Shaw of Capercaillie, on the accordion in Loch Arnish off Raasay - right in front of… Calum’s Road! The history on our doorstep is just amazing!

Fabulous days’ trips today, particularly our Whale Trail - a fin whale being the highlight! Photos to (hopefully) follow! This also wasn’t too bad - a white-tailed eagle, otherwise known as the sea eagle swooping down for a fish! Always a glorious sight! An absolutely fantastic Cèilidh cruise last night to conclude the Raft Race. Mòran, mòran taing dha na luchd-cìuil air leth a bh’ againn air bòrd: Gilleasbuig MacVicar on smallpipes Angus Gilpin on guitar Ali Macfarlane on guitar Kathleen MacDonald on fiddle! All proud Sgitheanaich - brilliant to showcase this abundance of local talent. The passengers had a real treat with a superb bottlenose dolphin and sea eagle display as well during the cruise - watch this space for some more videos! 🐳 🦅 Hoping to put a few more of these on at some point this summer!
