Eagle fishing
Fabulous days’ trips today, particularly our Whale Trail - a fin whale being the highlight! Photos to (hopefully) follow!
This also wasn’t too bad - a white-tailed eagle, otherwise known as the sea eagle swooping down for a fish! Always a glorious sight!
In Skye, these birds were once known as Iolaire Sùile na Grèine - the Eagle of the sun-coloured eyes - to distinguish them from the golden eagle!

Raft Race Cèilidh Cruise

Huge Minke Whale off the stern of the Saorsa (Stardust-boat-trips RIB) on one of our tours yesterday. Lots of Whales and Dolphins all day.

What a spectacular day we had today with the whales - 3 or 4 minkes, as well as a large pod of dolphins, sea eagles, seals and countless seabirds.

The unmistakeable, gigantic fins of John Coe and Aquarias, spotted off Staffin Island this evening aboard Stardust II.
